An incredible venue in the heart of Edinburgh, the Hospitality department at the National Museum of Scotland were aware that they needed to develop their online presence to maximise reach and support their excellent sales activity but being a small team, they lacked the time and resource to do so. We focussed our time and efforts on LinkedIn, Instagram and monthly newsletters.
We established a weekly schedule by agreeing content pillars, audience personas and continually reviewing analytics. The pages continue to grow steadily with solid, organic activity which offers high quality content and extensive 'social proof' for audiences of the incredible events taking place within their venues.
As a small team we did not have the resources to focus on digital marketing for the commercial events department at the Museum, however it was always something we knew we should be doing. We have always been very proactive with clients however were absolutely missing an opportunity by not being present on social media. We wanted to reach new and existing clients with instant updates and news but needed someone to take ownership of this which is why we approached Jenny.
